JAYDEN KREGEL
Our goal at BearTraxLLC is to create a welcoming environment for anyone who walks through our doors. My father and I used to spend all of our time together. I'd go on hunting, hiking, and camping trips with him. I would jump at the chance to go anywhere my dad went, even if it was just a run to the grocery store.
Our favorite thing to do was go to big outfitters stores and look around. I’d say, “dad I wanna do this, I want my own store.” I drew outrageous illustration of the humongous store that I wanted. I played silly games where I was the owner and had to keep myself in business. People in my life have always asked, why not just own a chain store or sell independently from a company. The answer, (although to some it might not make sense) is simple; I don’t want to. I don’t care how much easier it’ll be, I’d rather it be harder than easier, as long as I accomplish my goal. So many things in my life have changed over my few years on earth, but the desire to be something bigger; to do something bigger has remained constant. I’m 18 and I’ve made the decision to start something with my father that I want to last longer than our lifetime, not the store itself but the ideas put into it and the passion we bring to the table. It will no longer be a dream but a reality. I want to be able to say, “look dad, this is our store, we did this.”
I want anyone who comes in to feel that way. I want children to come with their parents and look around in awe. I want them to be able to feel the same way I did, and give them the confidence to turn an idea into something real. I want friends to come and just look around and get pumped up for the next big thing in their life.

BILL KREGEL
Growing up on 80 acres I always loved the outdoors and hunting, My dad taught me to love America as he served in Korea. I grew up in the country - loving my country. I have dreamed of my own business for many years but Jayden has been my inspiration in this start up we call BearTrax. The plans we have are Jayden's, she is the true driving force behind BearTrax and the wind beneath my wings.
I grew up in Pinconning, MI in the 70s on 80 acres riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, hunting and fishing. As I grew older my love for God and Country grew and grew. Because my dad, brother, nephew and Jayden considering The National Guard my love and respect for America's Military has become an essential part of my belief system.
I was always proud of my dad serving in America's Army, which may account for my love for America, her military and the people who have served and still serve. He was also an entrepreneur, he owned and operated Kregel Mobile Homes in Bay City, MI. Seeing my dad run his business I always believed it would be awesome to inherit his business. Unfortunately the business did not survive. The next best thing is to start a new business. I have attempted different businesses over the years, The Kregel Company, Kregel Enterprises and I have always included my children in my dreams. BearTrax is a dream coming true in many different ways than just being our business. The name, the core values, the store, the products we will be selling and the motto all tie together with everything I believe, love and hold dear.

Our Family Heroes
If you consider an unsuccessful hunt to be a waste of time, then the true meaning of the chase eludes you all together.” – Fred Bear |
